What is necessary to open rpt files designed with Crystal Reports 2013?
With the 32 bit “SAP Crystal Reports runtime redistribution package” it is possible to open a report designed with Crystal Reports 2013 using the ReportReaderNet.exe. Download the “SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio - Click Once (32 Bit)” from the following page and install it on a Windows machine: http://www.crystalreports.com/crystal-reports-visual-studio/.
Then start the ReportReaderStart.exe and stop the process after some time (ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll is required in the same directory). Then you will be able to use the ReportReaderNet.exe successfully.
